BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS
Dickinson High School Gator Pride Booster Club recognizes the value of athletics and promotes academic success through athletic development. In order to promote DHS students beyond High School the Booster Club has established a scholarship fund.

2021-2022 Scholarship Recipients
Each Spring, the Booster Club will accept applications from Senior Athletes and award scholarships on the basis of athletic participation, academic success, outstanding moral character, and work ethics displayed during their years at Dickinson High School.

The amount and number of Scholarships given is completely determined through the success of funds raised by the Booster club through it's Members, Sponsors, and Fundraising efforts.

Scholarship Criteria:

Must Complete a minimum of 2 years at Dickinson High School.

Participated in at least one of the Gator Pride Booster Club sponsored Sports.

Must have participated in DHS sports during their Junior and Senior year for 2023-2024.

Beginning 2023-2024 School Year, Seniors must participate in Athletics 3 of their 4 years at DHS​.

Must be Eligible for Graduation in May.

Must have a Parent or Guardian with a Paid Membership in the Gator Pride Booster Club.

Membership must be completed through the website by October 31 and must list the students name during the sign up process.​

Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing, including attendance.

Must volunteer at least 8 hours to the Gator Pride Booster Club (Fall/Spring Cake Fundraiser will count towards the 4 hour requirement).

After Selection of Recipient and Before presentation of the scholarship:

If the recipient should break any rule of DISD which requires disciplinary action or displays conduct considered inappropriate for a recipient, the scholarship shall be withdrawn and awarded to the candidate with the next highest point total.

Candidate must be accepted for admission to a college, university, or other secondary educational institute for the Fall Semester.

Student(s) that are receiving a full-paid athletic or academic scholarship to the school of their choice, will still be eligible for this scholarship, UIL rules permitting.
